Your cargo has landed. The duty is due today.
Customs will not release a single container until the full duty is paid — and most of that money comes back to you later as input tax credit. Recoverable is not the same as available. Saarthi Credit clears the last mile so your shipment moves on time.
The duty is not the cost. It is the wall.
On a full container load, duty and port charges commonly run a quarter to a third of cargo value. Basic Customs Duty and Social Welfare Surcharge are real costs. The IGST at 18% is not — it returns as input tax credit. But all of it has to be found on the day, before the gate opens.
Illustrative breakdown on a cargo assessed at ₹2.6 crore. Actual duty varies by tariff heading.

Working at Indian container ports and CFS locations
Built for the moment the problem actually appears
We arrive after the cargo has landed
Most trade finance has to be arranged before a vessel sails. Ours does not. We can take on a shipment that is already standing at the port, because that is when importers discover the gap.
The money never passes through your account
Funds go from us to customs against your Bill of Entry. You get the payment reference, and the goods clear. Nothing to route, nothing to reconcile.
Your documents stay in your name
The Bill of Entry, the assessment and the out of charge remain yours. We never become importer of record, so your input tax credit is untouched.
We work through your CHA
Your customs house agent already knows the file. We plug into that relationship rather than asking you to explain the shipment twice.
Have a consignment waiting?
Send us the Bill of Entry number and we will come back the same working day.
